Can you believe the fourth of July is only just over two weeks away? It always seems like when the fourth comes, the summer starts to move at warp speed. This is my absolute favorite holiday. I love to outfit myself and the kids with red, white, and blue duds, make all kinds of fun fourth of july crafts, eat everything Americana, and overuse the word, “‘Merica”. What can I say, I guess I’m one patriotic mama! This will be the only 4th of July Pinsperation post, so it’s a little lengthy. You are sure to find several ways to pay homage to old glory.
What To Do
Perfect for counting down the days to the 4th or if you’re family is getting out of town.
What a super fun activity to do with the kids!
I think this would be super cute to add to the DIY Tie Dye T-shirt.
Perfect for a road trip!
Too cute! It could be a crown, a windsock, a wreath, or a cape. Definitely doing this one!
So cute and so easy! My 3yo can totally do this!
So fun and festive. My 5yo can do this one on her own. For my 3yo, I’d put the glue on for him and let him sprinkle the glitter. Outside, of course.
I’m always looking for new ways to paint. This is pretty genius!
How To Dress
I cannot pull off a turband, but I’m always envious of the girls that can. I would love to rock this one on the 4th!
A reader sent me this pin. So cute and easy. I’m totally doing this to Lou’s hair. Now I need to find some adorable bows!
This whole outfit is too cute! Do you guys Polyvore? I haven’t yet, but I like to see the outfits on Pinterest.
I need this T! So cute.
The bag, the shoes, the hat. Totally loving this!
I would love my hubby to rock these shorts, but I have a feeling he never will. I have a special place in my heart for Chubbies.
What To Eat
This guy has an entire 4th of July BBQ menu with the recipes. It all looks delicious!
My hubby is a Rice Krispie Treat nut. I think this is a must-make!
I would love to see and eat a pie like this any day, but especially on the 4th. I’ll take mine ala mode, of course. Unfortunately, I’m not a very good baker.
How To Decorate
Totally doing this! Burlap and stars.
You know I love a good wreath, and this one it totally adorable. I have an entire Pinterest board just for wreaths. There’s a full tutorial in the link!
You guys, you have to click the link to see all the decor. There’s a ton of inspiration here, and it’s all adorable!
LOVE that ribbon banner. Ever since Kindra showed off her rag tie banner, I’ve been really wanting to make one. Maybe now is the time!
Love new uses for old glory. Fantastic.
I adore this blog. So many fabulous ideas. You will be able to see this fab FREE printable in my house very soon.
